Nay Pyi Taw City

Nay Pyi Taw is the capital city of Myanmar , is located between the Bago Yoma and Shan Yoma mountain ranges . On 6 November 2005 , the administrative capital of Myanmar was officially moved to greenfield wesst of Pyinmana , and aproximately 320 km north of Yangon , the previous capital . The capital's official name was announced on 27 March 2006 , Myanmar Armed Forces Day . As of 2009 , the population was 925000 , which makes it Myanmar's third largest city , behind Yangon and Mandalay . The City is one of the world's 10 fastest growing cities.


 

 
Nay Pyi Taw is more centrally and strategically located than the old capital , Yangon . It is also a transportation hub located adjacent to the Shan , Kayah and Kayin States . The city is organized into a number of zones , those are Residential , Military , Hotal , Shopping , Recreation and International Zones . Nowadays , Nay Pyi Taw is carry out day to day local and international functions . In Nay Pyi Taw , also a lot of places to visit and relax , such as Myoma Market , Junstion Centre Shopping Mall , National Herbal Park , Gems Museum , Water Fountain Garden , Zoological Garden , Safari Park and Uppatasanti Pagoda .Most of the weekend , peoples around the Myanmar visit to those places .
