Zaw Win Htut

Zaw Win Htut is a rock , country and blues singer in Myanmar , and the leader vocalist of the Emperor Band . He was born into a musical family in Yangon , Myanmar . His father U Kyi Khin was a physician , and his mother Daw Tin Aye was a famous folk singer with the stage name " Htar " . His maternal grandfather was Shwe Taing Nyunt , a famous songwriter of classical Burmese music . His nickname was Nyi Htut and he received a bachelor's degree in English from Yangon University . He began his career in music as a drummer in a band called Oasis . He formed his own band , Emperor , in the 1980 with five members , Zaw Myo Htut ( his brother and lead guitarist ) , Cin Khan Pan ( Bass ) , Wai Tun ( Drums ) , Mg Mg Lwin ( Keyboards ) , John O'Hara ( Accoustics ) . He was rock and roll singer in his early career . His first album released in 1983 was not a success but the third album ,  Hlyasit Moe Kaung Kin released in 1989 made him a star .



Zaw Win Htut was marry to May khaing Ohn and they have a son who is also a singer , guitarist and songwriter E-Toe ( Win Htut Thawdar ) and a daughter Chan Chan ( Win Htut Tara ) . He made so many single album and also involved in couple and group albums . At around of 1990 , he was a famous singer in Myanmar .
